I switched to a standing desk several months ago, and I’ve yet to look back. The initial few days were a little hard on my feet, but by day 5 they were back to normal. It’s not really a big deal once you get accustomed to it. Even if you can’t get a full-on “professional” standing desk, it’s easy to just set your laptop on a dresser or table and prop it up with boxes or books or cans or pretty much anything.
The only thing I find annoying about standing desks is that I tend to get distracted by the floor.

That was the second parkour meme I ever made, and it’s still true today. The floor is distracting.
