Traceurs You Must Know
The parkour world is filled with massively skilled traceurs – so much so, in fact, that it can sometimes be difficult to tell one from the other. There are hundreds, probably thousands of people out there who could be on a list of world-class traceurs. Figuring out who’s who in the parkour community used to be something you would have to do by spending massive amounts of time watching videos. Or, you could have a friend sit down and talk you through all of them.

Parkour in Movies
The Definitive, Always-Updated List of Movies that Feature Parkour
The relevant parkour information (when it appears, who performed, what was done, etc.) is listed under each title. Information is from Wikipedia, Internet Movie Database, Facebook, Twitter, streetstunts.net, and the athletes’ websites.
Note: The exact role of the athletes listed as “so-and-so did stunts” is unclear and usually unknowable without actually interviewing the person involved. Generally they’ll have either coordinated the stunts, trained the actors in the performance of those stunts, or performed themselves. Some part of the movie is going to have their influence on it, even if that influence is not immediately recognizable.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows
At the bachelor party about 20 minutes in, Holmes is attacked by a Cossack “renowned for his agility.” A pretty good parkour chase scene follows, despite the eye-roll-worthy addition of flips. Jeremy Marinas did stunts.
Stunts by David Belle. The little girl in the beginning of the movie uses parkour techniques to escape pursuers.
Williams Belle plays a traceur. Further analysis needed.[1]
There’s a lot of amazing climbing and monkey movement scenes in this movie. Unfortunately, they’re all CG. But still worth a watch just for monkey movement.
We don’t talk about this movie. Ryan Doyle was the bad guy.
Taylor Lautner uses parkour in a chase scene. Further analysis needed.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) and Part 2 (2011)
Chase Armitage, Cole Armitage, Cane Armitage, and Adam Brashaw were stuntmen. Tim Shieff was a Deatheater.
(More reliable citations needed for these two movies. IMDB doesn’t list Tim Shieff as a Deatheater, but he posted about playing one several times on Facebook and his blog. Adam Brashaw definitely is in Part 2 and the Armitages are definitely in Part 1. It is currently unknown if all athletes listed here are in both movies.)
The secret agent car goes roof jumping during the Italian Grand Prix. Not really parkour because, you know, it’s cars, but it’s also still roof-jumping.
You Got Served: Beat the World
The movie’s premise is hip-hop dancing meets parkour. There’s a lot spaced throughout the movie, including a truly epic chase scene in the beginning with Chase Armitage. Also featuring Mat Kaye and Cole Armitage. A good deal of breakdancing as well.
Apparently there was parkour in it. Further analysis needed.
Anis Cheurfa and Jeremy Marinas, both famous and highly skilled trickers, did stunts.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1
Anis Cheurfa did “utility stunts.”
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Adam Brashaw and Chase Armitage did stunts.
2010
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Parkour and freerunning throughout the movie. Some good chase scenes. Stunts by David Belle.
Sam Flynn does a kong and a dash vault over police cars during the chase scene in the first few minutes. Later on, Anis Cheurfa as Rinzler does some awesome tricking.
2009
David Belle and Cyril Raffaelli return for further awesome action.
Sébastien Foucan plays a master assassin – with dreadlocks!
2008
David Belle did stunts. Further analysis needed.
The Hulk does a dash vault at the very end of the movie, after the climax.
2007

2006
Almost certainly the most famous movie featuring parkour. Sébastien Foucan is chased by Daniel Craig as James Bond. 007 can’t catch Séb, so – well, I won’t spoil the movie. If you’re just interested in the parkour, the chase scene is available on Youtube
